HOME » Permissions

The permission system is simple yet effective. It allows for levels of security based on permissions granted by the administrator.

What can be secured?
The security is set at the page level. This means you can lock a whole page but not part of a page.
The Administration Panel where all the editing is done is also secure.

What are the different levels of security?
1. Administrator - Has complete permission to do everything.
2. Editor- Has permission to view all content on the website and is allowed to perform content editing only. Editor cannot delete content.
3. Private- permission to view general private content on the website. No editing permissions.
4. Unique- permission to only view specific unique content on the website.

How do you set the permission levels of a webpage?
The permission levels is set through the settings link in the Admin Panel.
1. Choose a page to edit through the [edit a web page] drop down menu.
2. Once the page you wish to change the permission is loaded, look for the link that says '[Edit page Settings]'.
3. Click on that link, look for the permissions menu in the form, choose a new permission and click [submit].

How do you set the permission level of a user?
The permission level is set through the users admin panel. The users admin panel can be found by clicking on the [smiley face] icon at the lower right hand corner of the Admin Panel.
