What's a hyperlink?
A hyperlink is a clickable word or image that takes you to another webpage on the internet.
Lets create a hyperlink to imakesense.com.
You'll need to login in first and then come back to this page. Once you are logged in, follow these instructions.
1. click on the [pencil] icon above to get to the editor.
2. if you've clicked the pencil icon, right now you should be in the Admin panel looking at the instructions in the editor.
There are two ways to create a hyperlink in the editor. The first method is just writing out the website address.
try writing this: www.imakesense.com
here:
You'll notice that the editor automatically recognizes that you're writing a website address and it creates the hyperlink for you. Pretty nifty.
The second method is just as simple. This time, lets use some different words for our hyperlink.
We'll use: Website Publishing for the Technically Impaired
1. You'll need to highlight that entire phrase by clicking and dragging your mouse across the words.
After you're done highlighting the phrase above it should look like this: Website Publishing for the Technically Impaired
2. Now while the phrase is highlighted click on the [hyperlink] icon in the editor menu. It looks like this:
 .3. After you click on the [hyperlink] icon, you'll get the 'insert link' window. Look for the field called Address.
4. In the Address field, type in the website address for imakesense.com which is: http://www.imakesense.com.
5. click the [ok] button.
6. click on your new hyperlink and you should be taken the imakesense homepage.
